I am trying to figure out where Seiko LumiBrite, BGW9 Grade A and C3 X1 SuperLuminova fall relative to one another in terms of initial brightness and duration. Here's what I've got. Initial brightness: LB > BGW9 A > C3 Duration: BGW9 A > LB > C3 I feel that the color and duration of BGW9 are very appealing, more so than the others.

C7-C9 Luminova can be blue too. In fact I think you can even get Super-Luminova in pink and orange if you wanted to. The point is it comes in many different colours. We are in the Rolex Forum. Rolex Superluminova is green. Rolex Chromalight is blue. Thats pretty much the only difference. Not longer lasting etc.

Most of my watches have Superluminova or Seiko Lumibrite, which are pretty good once charged properly, but still, I find Tritium better. Tritium is constant and you don't have to worry about charging it first. It stays ''on '' all the time. My oldest Tritium watch is almost five years old and still very good.
